The Similan Islands are one of the paradise islands for divers and those who love the beauty of the sea. There are abundant coral reefs. It is beautiful both underwater and on the sand. Including rare sea animals, it can be said that the island is one of the 10 scuba diving locations in the world that you must visit at least once.
The Similan Islands are located in the Similan Islands National Park, Lam Kaen Subdistrict, Thai Mueang District, Phang Nga Province, which consists of 9 islands: Koh Huyong, Koh Payang, Koh Payan, Koh Miang, Eel Garden, Koh Phayu, Koh Pusa, Koh Si. Milan and Koh Bang Ngu. The most famous island is Koh Similan or Koh Paed as we often hear about it.
1. Huyong Island or Koh Nueag It is the longest of the nine islands. Turtles usually come here to lay their eggs between November and February. If friends are interested in traveling to this island. You may want to check with the park first as it is a sea turtle sanctuary.
2. Payang Island or Koh Song It is an island with no sandy beach. The island is surrounded by cliffs and rocky mountains, making it impossible for boats to dock. It is also a place where turtles lay their eggs.
3. Payan Island or Koh Sam It is an island with no sandy beach. But on Payan Island, there are many fish, corals, and sea fans that are abundant. This makes it a very popular scuba diving location among divers. There is a very large natural rock wall under the water. This makes many people call it the Great Wall of China. Or commonly known as San Chalam.
4. Miang Island or Koh Si there will be a beautiful beach. The beach has fine white sand and there are park rangers located here. Rare animals such as crabs, chickens and sage birds can be found on this island. Many boats often visit the island. So that friends can dive and admire the beauty of the sea.
5. Eel Garden or Koh Ha there is an interesting diving spot called Eel Garden because underwater there are many white eels living. In addition, there are large corals , sea fans and many schools of fish.
6. Payu Island or Koh Hok it is an island that looks like a rocky mountain. There are steep cliffs. There are beautiful coral reefs and you can dive or snorkel in many spots. There will be many corals and fish.
7. Pusa Island or Koh Chet also known as Skull Island because it looks like a skull. The underwater area of Pusa Island is very beautiful. It looks like an underwater canyon filled with many corals.
8. Similan Island or Koh Paed it is a popular island among tourists. Can dive deep and shallow. It is the largest of the 9 islands. Similan Island has a unique viewpoint of Sailing Rock and Boot Rock.
9. Ba Ngu Island or Koh Kao it is one of the islands where you can scuba dive. Underwater Rock Pile and Christmas Point Rock Pile. You can also see rare marine animals such as gray sharks and white tip sharks. Including manta rays as well.
Similan Island or Koh Paed can dive in both deep and shallow water.
Payang Island or Koh Song can dive deep.

You can travel by boat to Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi, with the most popular ports being Phang Nga and Phuket. Because traveling is convenient and there are many boats available.
